Dr. Richard D. Cummings recently published a concept of arranging monosaccharides in a periodic table, similar to the elements (Glycobiology, 2024, 34, cwad088) . In this publication he addresses the diversity of monosaccharides and shows an image of the conceptual periodic table placing monosaccharides as per their size and type across the table. We created an interactive version of this periodic table where in one can click on each monosaccharide and view more details about each monosaccharide including its abbreviation, systematic name, mass, formula, links to external references and SNFG symbol. This interactive table, can serve as a great educational tool and reference.
