Description

GlycoGlyph is an open source glycan drawing and naming tool which is completely driven by JavaScript. It is built using popular JavaScript libraries D3.js, jQuery, and Bootstrap. GlycoGlyph enables drawing of glycans with SNFG (Symbol Nomenclature For Glycans) compatible symbols, using either a graphical user interface (GUI) or using name inputs in CFG linear nomenclature format. When structures are drawn using the GUI, GlycoGlyph also produces the CFG linear nomenclature for the glycan structure along with the GlycoCT. The GlycoCT can in turn be used to retrieve GlyTouCan IDs.

The structures drawn can be saved as vector SVG files, which are of publication quality and can be modified easily using vector editors such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape.
