Multi-Mode can only be turned on after adding first monosaccharide and in Add or Replace modes.

Press "D" key on keyboard when the mouse is over a symbol to delete the symbol.
Some databases may not accept completely unknown linkages. Common defaults based on monosaccharide structure:
• Sialic acids (Neu5Ac, Neu5Gc, KDN, Neu, Sia) typically link via position 2
• Most other monosaccharides typically link via position 1
